Raphael is a digital geographer and urbanaut tracing the spatial patterns we leave behind...
Raphael finished his master's degree in urban culture, society and space in 2015, broadening the expertise from his bachelor's degree in geography at the University of Cologne. During his studies he learned about a wide variety of disciplines while working on topics related to urban surroundings. Questions about how our mobility behavior shapes the cities we live in, and how these phenomenons can be communicated through spatial data, prototypes and experiments are what keeps Raphael's motivation running.
When he is not in the lab, he likes to spend his free time biking and climbing in the mountains or just hanging out in front of his playstation.
